Terms of Use

White Bunny is a platform for independent human + AI hybrid music artists and their fans. We host artist profiles, share music, run community features, and provide tools for making music. We are not a record label, publisher, manager, employer, or music generator. We never own the music; artists do.

White Bunny is strictly for people aged 18 or older. By creating an account, joining the invite list, signing up for membership, or using the site in any way, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 will be closed. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 — see the Privacy Policy for how to have data removed.

Everyone releasing music here is an independent creator. They are not employees, and White Bunny is not a label, manager, or publisher. Artists keep full ownership of their recordings, compositions, artwork, and names, and grant White Bunny a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and stream them on the platform. An artist can withdraw a release at any time.

Every release must have meaningful human authorship and performance. AI may be used as an assist — sketching, cleanup, mixing, texture, instruments played by a machine rather than a hand — and the roles AI played must be disclosed on the release. Fully AI-generated songs are not accepted and will be removed. We know the controversy around AI in music; our answer is real human authorship and honest disclosure, not arguments.

By uploading, an artist confirms they hold or have cleared all rights in the recording, composition, artwork, samples, and any voice used. They confirm no tool was used to imitate an identifiable person's voice or likeness without permission. If a rights holder reports a problem, we remove the material while it is reviewed.

The Studio lets you upload your own sounds and sample packs to use in your songs. By uploading, you confirm that you made the sound yourself, or that you hold a licence that allows you to use it in music you release — including commercial release. White Bunny does not check, verify, or clear the rights in sounds you upload, and is not responsible for what artists create with them. If a rights holder tells us an uploaded sound or a song made with it infringes their rights, we remove it while it is reviewed, and repeated violations can close an account. When in doubt, use sounds you recorded yourself or packs that are clearly royalty-free for release.

Members pay a monthly fee (currently $19.99/month) for access to the Studio tools. Tips are voluntary support for an artist — not a purchase, licence, or subscription — and are passed to the artist minus payment-processing fees. Once sent, tips are not refundable. Transaction fees charged by payment providers apply on top of membership pricing.

Be decent to the people here. Don't harass artists, don't brigade profiles with anti-AI pile-ons, don't upload music you don't have the rights to, don't misrepresent how your music was made, and don't try to break the platform or another person's account. We remove content and close accounts that break the community rules (see Rules).

The Studio's tools process your audio and ideas in your browser where possible. If a feature uses AI, it assists your work — it doesn't replace it, and output you submit as a release must still meet the human-led rule in section 04.

A voice can only be used here if it is yours, or if the singer has given written permission. Before any voice model can be built on White Bunny, you must record a one-time consent line that is unique to your account, sign it with your legal name, and pass a human review. Voices that imitate a public figure, a named artist, or anyone who has not consented are refused and reported. Everyone heard in a consent recording must be 18 or older. You can ask us to delete a voice and its consent record at any time, and we may remove a voice or close an account if a rights holder objects or the rules are broken. Voice model building and rendering are charged in studio credits on top of membership.

White Bunny is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not responsible for the content artists upload — including sounds and sample packs added to My sounds — the accuracy of their disclosures, the licensing status of material they bring in, or agreements made between artists and listeners outside the platform. Responsibility for clearing rights in anything an artist uploads or releases rests with the artist. To the fullest extent allowed by law, White Bunny's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.

We may update these terms as the platform grows; material changes will be announced on the site. We may suspend accounts or remove content that breaks these terms or the law. If you believe something here infringes your rights or breaks the human-led rule, contact the White Bunny team at whitebunny.studio/contact with the release name and details.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. This page is a plain-language summary of the agreement, not legal advice — a lawyer should review the final agreement before real payments begin.
