Your data, plainly
What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to get it deleted. Effective September 2026.
We collect the minimum needed to run White Bunny: your email when you join the invite list or become a member, the content you upload, and basic technical data needed for the site to work. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and your audio work in the Studio stays on your device unless you choose to save or submit it.
White Bunny is strictly for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have data from someone under 18, we delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a minor has given us information can write to us at whitebunny.studio/contact and we will remove it.
Invite list: your email, kept until launch and until invites are sent. Accounts and membership: your email, account settings, and membership status. Content you publish: audio, artwork, profile text, and disclosure information you choose to share. Technical data: standard logs (IP address, browser type) for security and to keep the service running. Tips: payments are processed by our payment provider; we see only what they send us (name, email, amount) and never your card details.
Recordings, mixes, and instrument performances you create in the Studio live in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to us unless you explicitly save or submit it. Your releases belong to you — see the Terms of Use for how ownership works.
We share data only with the services needed to run White Bunny: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and our email provider for invites and account emails. We never sell personal data. We may disclose information if the law requires it, and we'll tell you when we're allowed to.
Invite-list emails are deleted after launch invites are sent, or sooner if you ask. Account data is kept while your account is open and for a short period after closure. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Technical logs are kept for a limited security window.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, download it, or delete it — write to us at whitebunny.studio/contact from your account email. If you're in the EU/UK you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority; if you're in California, you have equivalent rights under CCPA/CPRA. We don't discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
We use only what's needed: a session cookie to keep you signed in and essential storage for the site to function. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no fingerprinting.
Data is stored with our managed cloud provider with encryption in transit and at rest. No service is perfectly secure, but we treat your data like it's ours. If we change this policy, the new version appears here with the date below; material changes will also be announced on the site.
